What Was Slowing the Operation Down
The process of estimating how many people were needed for a specific operation, and in which exact roles, relied on complex spreadsheets and dispersed expert knowledge. This workflow was slow, prone to version errors, and made it difficult to respond quickly to changes in project scope or tenders.
The manual method took approximately three weeks to consolidate a final recommendation. The rigidity of previous tools prevented quick comparisons between different operational scenarios.
What We Built
A custom web platform (Angular/NodeJS) was developed to act as an "intelligent talent calculator." The system allows users to input specific operational parameters and automatically returns the recommended number of personnel required, along with profile and role recommendations
It includes a dynamic scenarios module where leaders can adjust variables in real-time and visualize the immediate impact on structure and projected costs
The solution was built on a modern structure using Node.js and Angular, with Firebase for data management
Python-based calculation engines were implemented to process business rules and generate automatic reports that were previously drafted manuallyResults
