Client profile: Airport ground services operator.
Use Case
Airport service teams needed a field-first Android app for ground handling, maintenance, and logistics coordination. Enacment designed the tool around mobile execution so teams could update work, access operational context, and coordinate from the field instead of relying on desktop workflows.
What Was Slowing the Operation Down
Airport operations involve multiple moving parts where teams cannot rely on desktop-first tools. When the digital layer is weak at the field level, coordination slows down, visibility drops, and routine field tasks become harder to standardize.
Traditional desktop tools are often too distant from the actual work on the tarmac. The lack of a mobile solution made it difficult to capture data at the point of execution and synchronize activities across maintenance, logistics, and handling areas.
What We Built
Handling Module: Recording of operational services
Maintenance Module: Support for technical maintenance workflows
Logistics Module: Coordination of support activities
Android Application: User interface for field personnel
Mobile Operational Workflows: Digitization of service processesResults

Field-first: Execution-oriented UX
Digital Support on the Tarmac: Improved digital support layer for field operations where fixed systems are not viable
Operational Visibility: Increased clarity on service status for central coordinationRelated Services
Custom software
Process automationProject Scope
The deployment focused on Android devices for use in field operational conditions, considering the connectivity and mobility needs specific to an airport environment.
Why It Matters
Airport operations depend on timing, handoffs, and field visibility. Enacment's custom software and process automation supported an Android field access model, covered 3 operational areas, and delivered an execution-oriented user experience for mobile teams.
